How does the paint room work?
Participants typically wear protective gear and use various tools to create artwork by splattering paint onto canvases or other surfaces.
How much does it cost?
The cost is calculated at $1 per minute per person for a minimum of 10 minutes to a maximum of 60 minutes, plus any additional costs for add-ons such as extra materials or services.
How old do you have to be?
Participants typically need to be at least 3 years old to participate in paint splatter activities.
What should I wear for splatter paint?
Yes, paint splatter activities are typically messy, so wear old clothes or attire you don't mind getting paint on. Safety glasses are provided and must be worn at all times during the experience. Additional personal protective gear, such as head covers, ponchos, gloves, and foot covers, is available at an additional cost.
Where are you located? What times are you open?
Our paint room is located at 41 Central Avenue, Cortland, New York 13045. We're open from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays. Walk-ins are welcome, although reservations are preferred. Please note our operating hours may be subject to change, so it's advisable to check our website or contact us directly for any updates.
What do I need to bring?
Bring personal items such as ID for age verification and any specific requirements mentioned by the paint room. Arrive a few minutes early to ensure a smooth check-in process. Our facility requires signing a waiver, which is available online.
Can I take pictures or videos during my session?
Yes, participants are allowed to take pictures or videos with their phones during their session. However, the use of professional cameras or recording devices is not permitted. Additionally, a Bluetooth speaker is provided to play music during the activity for an enhanced experience.
Do you offer packages for birthday parties, large groups, and corporate events?
Yes, we offer exclusive packages for birthday parties, large groups, and corporate events. Starting at $100 per hour, these packages provide the entire facility exclusively for your group's use. Additionally, the package includes personal protective equipment (PPE) and special splatter tools to enhance the experience. Optional catering is available from our community-based restaurants to complement your event.
What's your cancellation policy?
When you book a visit with us, we reserve exclusive time for you. If you need to cancel, reschedule, or change your booking or group size, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit. To modify or reschedule, you can cancel and rebook online, email us, or contact us by phone.
Are your paints safe?
Our paints are safe and conforms to ASTM D-4236 Standards. It's water-based and non-toxic, washable fluorescent neon paint that glows under a black light (ultraviolet light). While it was designed to wash off skin and most surfaces, it can leave mild stains on certain materials that are white or light colored.
Disclosure: There are a super small percentage of people in the world that are allergic to preservatives. Our paints use the same preservative that is used in most shampoos. Nonetheless, do a small test with the paint if you have any concerns. People, who have dry or sensitive skin, may experience temporary staining or mild irritation. If any irritation occurs, wash off with soap and water immediately. .
